MORNING DISCUSSION: TESTING
Kids get tested a lot, all through the school year. They rarely get to turn the tables on the grown ups in this domain. Why do we evaluate things? What else gets evaluated besides children in school? What do awards look like? What are blooper awards? How does it feel to get tested? How does it feel to get an award? What are the categories for awards?
TODAY’S PRACTICE
If you see something in the city that you want to assess, do. Think up an award and make one and tape it to the site. Maybe it is a good award, but maybe it is a blooper prize.
