Field Journals

Children make their own journals on the first day of camp and take them on our excursions. They can choose to use these to draw, write, and glue in artifacts or photographs from the previous day. In each journal is a street map of our walking area and an illustration of the three column types present all over the city: doric, ionic, and corinthian. Most students use these tools to enhance their observation and interaction with the city.
